2nd graders are having an assessment which is more like an activity about animal friends in Mandarin. They've been learning animal friends for 3 weeks. In the video, you can see when Ms. Chen spoke out the animal names in Mandarin, they will respond with their body gestures of that animal. They successfully acquiring the language with the transfer from listening--decoding meaning (think in English)---express with body gestures. Please enjoy.

Students love this app very much. It includes the sounds, tracing characters and meaning. We were using this app to interact with students for weeks, and if parents could download this app at home, they would love it. It is free, and if you like their Facebook page, it will unlock more characters.

Making "Hong Bao", and sharing new year wish to your friends! (5-8th grade)
The older grades are making their own "Hong Bao", and share their new year wish with friends. I was touched by a lot of friend notes. Some students wrote notes for family members, which is really warm.
