Writing "Chun Lian" --5&6graders


"Chun Lian" is a very traditional element in Chinese new year. Usually it has three pieces: one title and two sides. Today, the 5&6 graders are writing their own"Chun Lian", which is very challenging,   but they enjoyed decorating it.

Writing Chinese characters---7&8th grade


7&8th graders are working in a team to write out Chinese characters of 12 Zodiac animals.




Coloring Chinese Zodiac animals--1st grade




1st graders are coloring 12 Chinese Zodiac animals. 
















Matching Chinese Zodiac animals--3rd&4th grade








After learning the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals, the 3rd and 4th graders are matching the sound with Chinese characters.

Happy new year to everyone! In the new year, we will continue Mandarin learning, and Ms Chen will help every student learn Mandarin Spelling. The Chinese new year is on February 18th, 2015( the year of Goat) Please say " xīn nián kuài lè" to everyone, it means happy new year!
